The final quarter of 2020 was a dynamic period for sandbox games on the iOS platform in Latin America. With data provided by Sensor Tower, we look at the performance of the top five sandbox games in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Roblox by Roblox Corporation showed a strong performance, ending the year with a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 94K in the week of December 21. Weekly active users followed an upward trend, reaching nearly 981K in the last week of December. Revenue also saw a notable surge, with the game earning approximately $392K in the third week of December.

MultiCraft ― Build and Mine!, with no reported revenue, still saw a steady climb in downloads, culminating in around 18K in the final week of December. Weekly active users for the game developed by MultiCraft Studio also rose, reaching over 53K by year's end.

Electronic Arts' TSM Game exhibited a modest increase in revenue, finishing the quarter with nearly $4K in the last week of December. Downloads and weekly active users saw an uptick in the holiday season, with downloads hitting over 16K and active users at approximately 46K in the same period.

Wildlife Inc's Block Craft 3D: Building Games experienced fluctuations in revenue, with a notable peak of around $2.7K in the first week of December. Downloads remained relatively consistent, with a slight increase to around 14K by the end of December. The title also witnessed a growth in weekly active users, ending the quarter with over 78K.

Lastly, The Sims™ FreePlay, another title from Electronic Arts, showed variability in revenue, with a high point of about $8.3K in the week leading to Christmas. Downloads saw an upward trend, reaching over 13K in the final week of 2020. Active users experienced a gradual rise, concluding the quarter with over 51K in the last week of December.
